Metros

Below, in no particular order, a few selected metro areas that showcase the integration of data feeds by TransiCast. The plots show stops with next bus and train times in the corresponding metro area.
In blue, stops with real-time next bus and train times that are based on vehicle locations. Red shows stops with only schedule-based next bus and train times. The schedule based feeds are based on the agency published GTFS data feeds.

Boston

Boston Metro
October 2013
The Boston metro area consists of the data feeds of MBTA Bus, MBTA Subway, MBTA Commuter, Charles River, MIT, Lasell and the MBTA service messages feed. All feeds are real-time feeds based on vehicle locations, except for MBTA's Green Line, which is provided in estimated departures based on GTFS data. This amounts to seven feeds in four different formats, plus the corresponding GTFS feeds for the underlying static data.
